چکیده
With the increasingly widespread of advanced metering infrastructure, electric load clustering is becoming more essential for its great potential in analytics consumers' energy consumption patterns and preference through data mining. Moreover, a variety techniques have been put into practice to obtain distribution data, observe characteristics clusters, classify components total load. This can give rise development related research smart grid, such as demand-side response. paper summarizes basic concepts general process clustering. Several similarity measurements five major categories are then comprehensively summarized along with their advantages disadvantages. Afterwards, eight indices widely used evaluate validity described. Finally, vital applications discussed thoroughly future trends including tariff design, anomaly detection, forecasting, security big etc.

Smart Grid Load Forecasting
Electrical load modeling and forecasting are critically important in the electrical network and smart grid. The sparse Bayesian Learning (SBL) algorithm can be utilized to model and forecast the electrical load behavior. The SBL algorithm can solve a sparse weight vector with respect to a kernel matrix for modeling electricity consumption. However, traditional SBL can only handle an electricity...

متن کاملLoad-scheduling and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles in the Smart Grid
Peak demand is a well-known problem in the power grid. It denotes the amount of power required to supply consumers at times when demand is highest. Load peaks can have a negative impact on the stability of the power grid and maintenance costs for transmission and generation companies. Because of this, electricity prices often increase during peak demand. Currently, increasing use of plug-in hyb...
